Main Office Front Desk Reception
Help ensure that every person who comes to WayForward Resources is warmly greeted and assisted with the purpose for their visit – clients, donors, guests, staff, volunteers, etc.
A small team of volunteers expand staff capacity by providing welcoming and skilled front desk coverage in the WayForward Main Office lobby.
When you bring your warm and friendly demeanor, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with your ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality, you will enjoy staff training and support as you:
- Become knowledgeable about all WayForward programs and services
- Determine the nature of business for all on-site visitors, answer questions about WayForward, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
- Answer incoming telephone calls/emails and forward to appropriate personnel
- Kindly and warmly welcome and assist visitors looking for services
- Receive and record incoming donations and thank donors
- Various administrative tasks, as needed, i.e. stamping envelopes, folding letters, etc.
Being willing to work with people speaking different languages and to to learn and use translations tools is essential. Spanish language skills would be helpful, but not required.
Consider joining our team on Wednesday mornings or afternoons or on Friday mornings.
