Seasonal Programs

Back to School Program

The Back to School Program provides backpacks and supplies for 4K–high school students and supplies for college students. The 2026 application is open until August 3, and the wait list may be open until August 21. If you need supplies during the school year, please contact your child’s school social worker.

To participate, your household must:

• Have at least one student attending MCPASD in 2026-27 or live in WayForward’s Service Area (see Service Area map below).
• Meet income eligibility requirements – a case manager will contact you about this after receiving your application

Thanksgiving Meals

WayForward’s Food Pantry provides a variety of food for your holiday meal. We offer the opportunity for you to choose what you would like during regular food pantry hours during the week of November 18–22. We offer a range of cultural and dietary options to meet your needs. You do not need to pre-register and the opportunity to get Thanksgiving food is open to all Dane County residents.
