Be part of a team that provides a dignified and respectful shopping experience for guests accessing WayForward’s food pantry by:

Warmly greet food pantry guests when they are ready to check out
Measure and record food weight for each guest when they have completed their shopping
Assist guests to their vehicles, if needed
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Assist with other food pantry tasks, as needed

The ideal volunteer will be available for a minimum of one weekly volunteer shift for at least 3 months. Of course, this is with the understanding that a volunteer may need flexibility for vacation, sickness, appointments, etc.

Wednesdays from 3:45pm to 7:15pm are a current recruiting priority. Other shifts are available on a substitute basis.
