Join us in welcoming Jessica Mathis to the WayForward Resources team! Jessica started toward the beginning of August as our Database Coordinator, a newly created role on the Development Team. Prior to her work at WayForward, Jessica held the position of Director of Development at Porchlight for 12 years. Jessica has a degree in Community and Nonprofit Management from UW Madison. She enjoys going to concerts, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and being an aunt to nine nieces and nephews. She is a proud pet parent to four cats, three dogs, and–on occasion–Murray the groundhog.

In this new position, Jessica plays a vital role in our database and record-keeping maintenance. WayForward’s growth is a direct response to increased need in our community and is made possible because of increased support from our donors and partners. Over the past several years, we have experienced a huge rise in demand for our services, requiring greater investment in our programs to address those needs. Thanks to community support, we’ve been able to respond with thoughtful expansion. We believe these changes will help WayForward deepen our impact while using the dollars our community has entrusted to us in meaningful, lasting ways.
