Gardens

WayForward volunteers operate gardens that grow fresh produce.

The harvest from our onsite Food Pantry garden goes directly to the pantry. Our Family Garden, located at 2500 Evergreen Road near Capitol Ice Arena, is a teaching garden open to food pantry guests.

• During the growing season, food pantry guests can pick up fresh produce from the garden to take home.
• The Family Garden is open Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. during the growing season (usually early May to September).
• Guests interested in opportunities to learn and volunteer in the garden during the summer can ask for more information at the food pantry check-in desk.
